I don't think so...news referred to "The Blacksburg Cave Rescue Team"

Not sure if that group has any connection to the Cave Club...perhaps some overlap in membership? It's been a while, but I knew several Cave Club members back in the day. They were serious cavers, but not trained in rescue. It's (or at least was) more of a recreational/social group.
